"My granddaughter became ill while visiting us and her insurance coverage was not effective out-of-state (father changed jobs and the kids are on Medicaid until he is eligible for insurance). The cheapest doctor's appointment I could find for a two-yr. old was CareNow, and it was $168 for the first visit, not counting any tests or medicine. Someone told me about Network of Community Ministries, so I called to see if they would help. I am so impressed with this organization. They were kind, compassionate, and treated us with dignity and respect despite the fact that no payment was expected. My granddaughter received excellent treatment and medicine at no charge. Everyone from the office personnel, the doctor, and nurses were so helpful. I am so grateful to them for their treatment that I will make them our priority for any charitable donations we make to the community. "
